🤝 Introducing Hartsburg Helping Hands

One of the greatest things about living in Hartsburg is the willingness of neighbors to help neighbors. We see it every day, and we'd like to make it even easier for those who need a helping hand to connect with those who are willing to give one.

We're launching Hartsburg Helping Hands, a volunteer resource list made up of community members who are willing to lend a hand with projects such as:

🌱 Mowing lawns

🌿 Trimming brush or weeds

🛻 Hauling away debris

🧹 Minor property cleanup

🔨 Small projects or repairs

❤️ Or any other skills or services you'd like to offer

Volunteers who choose to participate will have their name, phone number, and the types of assistance they're willing to provide included on a resource list. When appropriate, this list may be shared with residents who receive certain property maintenance or ordinance notices. Sometimes people are facing difficult circumstances, don't have the equipment they need, or simply don't know who to call.

Hartsburg Helping Hands isn't about enforcement—it's about compassion, connection, and community. It's another way we can support one another and continue building the small-town spirit that makes Hartsburg such a special place to call home.
